Sunday Retail Volunteer – Cambridge Hospice Shop

Cambridge

This is genuinely one of the loveliest volunteer shifts you could choose.

It’s just 3 hours on a Sunday, so no weekday traffic, and there’s a really nice pace to the day. Sundays can be busy, sometimes it feels like Grand Central Station with lots of buzz, but the atmosphere is always relaxed, warm and welcoming.

One of the best parts? The people. You get to chat with customers popping in for a browse, and if you volunteer regularly you’ll start to recognise our “Sunday regulars.” Seeing familiar faces each week and catching up with them is something many of us really look forward to.

The Sunday team are friendly, supportive and inclusive, you quickly feel like part of the family.

  • With more volunteers on the team, flexibility to alternate Sundays
