Spruce Up Crew Needed – Hospice shop Frankton

A Little Help for a Big Cause
Our amazing Hospice retail shop in Lake road, Frankton is in need of a refresh – and we’re looking for a few hands-on helpers to jump in for a one-off project.

If you’re someone who wants to volunteer but can’t commit long-term, this is your moment.

  • We’re after some groups or individuals to help us:
  • Take down some wall fixtures
  • Painting
  • Assembling wall fixtures and attaching to the wall
  • Moving furniture
  • Set things back up, ready for reopening
  • That’s it — practical, and meaningful.

We’re hoping to get it done during the weeks 15-26 of June – It’s a great project for some community minded team or individual. We want to make a difference for our staff and volunteers who work in the space, along with a refreshed new site for our customers!

If this sounds like you (or almost like you!), give us a call. Just a few hours of your time will help keep Hospice care free and accessible for families across the Waikato.

Requirements:
  • Fun, hardworking people who are keen to help a very worthwhile cause
  • Comfortable using basic tools (or happy to give it a go!)
  • Able to lift light items and move around the space
  • No special skills needed — just a good attitude and willingness to pitch in
