Join our team as a Visitor Experience Host! Help welcome visitors, share fun facts, answer questions, and assist with admissions or the gift shop. Shifts are once a week or fortnight, weekdays or weekends, Your time will help keep history alive!

Love gardening and being outdoors? Help care for Abbeyfield Waikato’s gardens in Hillcrest, creating safe, welcoming spaces for our elderly residents to enjoy. A couple of hours a week brings beauty, comfort, and joy to their day.

Laser System Setup Volunteer (One-Off Project) – Cambridge

Fancy yourself a laser whiz? We need a tech-savvy volunteer for a one-off morning to tame a home laser cutter. Must know LightBurn/software, love a bit of hands-on troubleshooting, and teach an older person with hearing issues to handle it next time.

Bass guitar tutor (Hamilton) - to help someone who used to play, brush up their skills so they can play fluently and jam with other musicians.

Student Liaison Volunteer- Home-Based (Short/Long term)

You will be calling up to 10 of our students as part of a team, checking in to see how they are getting on. The role runs for around 4 to 5 weeks, including training on our systems. We’ll provide you with an app, so the calls won’t cost you anything.
