Help Our Community Learn to Drive – Become a Volunteer Driving Mentor
Do you have a full licence and some spare time? Help a new driver gain their driver’s licence and open up new opportunities.
As a volunteer driving mentor, you’ll support one new driver through our 12-week mentoring programme, meeting twice a week for a one-hour driving practice.
We provide the car, so you don’t need to use your own.
You don’t need to be a driving instructor—just a calm, reliable person who’s keen to encourage and support someone learning new skills. We provide training and ongoing support, and have reserve mentors on standby if you need time off.
Why does it matter?
Many people in our community can’t access jobs, education, or independence simply because they don’t have a licence. You can help change that.
