Become the Guardian of Our History
As our Archivist, you will play a vital role in preserving the story of our community for generations to come. By auditing, organising, and digitising our historical records, you will ensure that our museum’s legacy is accessible, accurate, and meaningful — allowing visitors, researchers, and local families to connect with the people, events, and stories that shaped our region.
Your key contributions will include:
- Organisation & Preservation: Categorise, label, digitise, and file documents, photographs, and artefacts using archival best practice, keeping our collection safe and discoverable.
- Special Projects: Research historical questions to support exhibitions, events, or public enquiries, helping bring our community’s story vividly to life.
This is a perfect role for someone who loves history, enjoys working methodically, and wants to make a tangible impact by helping people explore and understand our shared heritage.
