Assisting regular staff with set-up if needed, assisting and supporting school children in free use of laptops and tablets with Wi-fi access, to complete homework tasks and achieve learning through computer-based games that enhance literacy, numeracy, IT and social skills. Some IT problem-solving often required. Relating to children, updating knowledge of educational software, minor IT problem-solving, improving skills of managing children engaged on online learning, add to CV.

Requirements:

Computer literacy and a level of competence and confidence in leading and mentoring children in IT work; on the job training where required. Patience, sense of humour, relaxed and laid back, adaptable, initiative.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Wednesdays and or Thursdays 2.45-4.45 during term time.
