Community Hub Leader

Hamilton

We’re looking for a volunteer who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of shaping what this could look like in Hillcrest. This is an open, exploratory role where you’ll help build connections, support local initiatives, and bring ideas to life in simple, practical ways alongside the Business manager and Vicar.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Be a friendly, welcoming presence and developing deeper connections with those already coming onto site
• Help build connections with people and groups in Hillcrest
• Support and grow our practical initiatives such as: Opshop (serving once a week), Food box support (monthly) and Bread distribution times (Tuesday 9am)
• Explore what journeying with 3-5 families over 12 months would look like as an extension of wide table initiative
• Explore new ideas for how our spaces could better serve the community such as hall use, workshops, partnerships, programs, support etc
• Help create an environment that feels open, inclusive, and relational
