Brain Tumour Support NZ Working Bee (to post out fundraising book)

Hamilton

Want to spend a few hours doing something practical that makes a real difference? Come and join our Brain Tumour Support NZ working bee!

We’re bringing together a group of friendly, like-minded volunteers to help us package and send out approximately 500 books that have been sold as part of our fundraising efforts.

With the support of our team, you’ll help us get these books safely on their way to their new owners. Tasks will include:

📦 Bubble-wrapping books
🏷️ Labelling courier bags with addresses
✉️ Adding compliment slips
📮 Helping with the drop-off of parcels at local post offices

No special skills are needed, just a willingness to lend a hand, have a chat and help us get the job done!

📍 Location: Hamilton
📅 Date: One of 28 August, 31 August or 1 September 2026 (final date to be confirmed)
🍴 Kai provided: We’ll keep you fuelled with food and refreshments!

Most importantly, you’ll be helping Brain Tumour Support NZ raise vital funds to support people and families affected by brain tumours across Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Come along, meet some wonderful people, have a few laughs and know that your time is helping make a difference. Every book packed and posted helps us continue our work. ❤️

We’d love to have you on the team!
