The Give and Take Box at 22 Wellington Street-
St John’s Methodist Church, Hamilton East provides a place for people to donate items they no longer need and for others to take what they can use.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Bringing donated items inside to the church foyer for sorting.
  • Sorting items and preparing them to be displayed.
  • Hanging and arranging items neatly in the Give and Take Box area.
  • Keeping the area clean, tidy and presentable.
  • Helping ensure the space remains welcoming and easy for the community to use.

Requirements:

What we're looking for:

  • Someone reliable and organised who enjoys practical tasks.
  • An eye for keeping things clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Someone happy to work independently and take initiative.
  • A community-minded person who enjoys helping others.

Time commitment:

  • 2–3 days per week
  • approximately 2–4 hours per day
  • could be shared across 2 people
