Help us create digital learning modules as part of a volunteer team
About RYALT
The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust (RYALT) helps teenagers and adults who missed out on developing reading and writing skills at school. We provide free literacy support that helps people build confidence and develop the skills they need in everyday life.
As a not for profit organisation, we rely on volunteers to support the work of our staff. Every volunteer plays an important part in helping us make a difference.
About the Role
- We are looking for volunteers to help create digital learning modules using Adobe Captivate.
- You don’t need to work on this alone. We have 12 modules to develop and are looking for 3 or 4 volunteers to work together as a team.
- Each person will be responsible for a different module, with everyone connected through a Slack channel where you can ask questions, share ideas, and support each other.
- You will be provided with detailed guides that explain which Adobe Captivate features to use and what each module should look like, so you won’t be starting from scratch.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating digital learning modules in Adobe Captivate.
- Following detailed guides that explain how each module should be built and designed.
- Adding text, images, quizzes, and other interactive activities to support literacy learning.
- Working with the RYALT team to make sure the modules meet the learning goals.
- Helping make sure the modules are easy to use and accessible for learners.
- Sharing ideas to help improve our digital learning resources.
What You’ll Get Out of It
- The chance to make a real difference by helping people improve their literacy skills.
- A flexible volunteer role that you can do remotely from home.
- Experience creating digital learning content for a well respected not for profit organisation.
- The opportunity to be part of a supportive volunteer team.
