We pride ourselves in donating birthday cakes of a high standard, to children going through hardship so that they can be celebrated, as they deserve to be on their birthday.

We are looking for the right creatives to join our team by decorating cakes from our klitchen at Sweetpea Parties to fill the requests that we receive from the agencies that we work with.

The cakes will be provided, so your time is only for the decorating. The successful applicants will be able to come into the kitchen for one weekday morning a week and decorate the cakes in the schedule.

Requirements:

  • Creative, with a passion for cake decorating
  • Preferably some experience decorating cakes
  • Honest and reliable.

We will ask for you to send through some photos of your previous cakes that you have decorated to see where your skill level is currently. Above all must understand our mission to ensure every child is celebrated and believe in the importance of the cakes that you will be decorating.

Time commitment:

  • We have availability for volunteers to join us for one day per week from 9.30am.
  • Depending on the number of cakes and your speed will depend on the time taken to complete the scheduled cakes.
  • Less time is required depending on how many cakes there are to donate and the time it takes to decorate.
