About Us:
The purposes of the Trust are to advance education, capability, and community well-being of individuals by identifying community needs through research and turning evidence into practical, inclusive solutions that enable people and communities to thrive.

CERT is looking for a creative and motivated volunteer to support our communications and outreach efforts by developing engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create content for social media platforms (e.g., posts, captions, basic visuals)
  • Assist in developing content for the website, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Help communicate the Trust’s programmes, events, and impact in a clear and engaging way
  • Capture and share stories, testimonials, and community highlights
  • Support basic content planning and scheduling

Requirements:

  • Basic skills in content creation (writing, social media posts, or simple design)
  • Good written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Creativity and ability to present ideas in an engaging way
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Willingness to collaborate with a small team and take feedback positively
  • Interest in community work and supporting a charitable organisation

Desirable:

  • Experience using tools such as Canva or similar design platforms
  • Basic photography or video editing skills
  • Previous experience in content creation (formal or informal)

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

  • 3-4 hours per week
  • on-going role for updates and maintenance
  • flexible - since this is a home-based role, the allocated time can be either on week days or on weekends based on availability.
