We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a creative, welcoming space and is happy working quietly behind the scenes to help the Gallery run smoothly. This is a part-time role that would suit someone seeking meaningful work a couple of days a week, perhaps someone easing into retirement or looking for a steady, enjoyable role.
You’ll be supporting the Gallery Manager with the everyday administration that keeps things ticking along, helping the shop side of the Gallery, and staying in touch with our artists and volunteers. Your work will make a real difference to how the Gallery operates and feels.
In this role, you’ll be involved in:
- General Gallery administration
- Supporting the Gallery shop with admin tasks
- Helping with volunteer scheduling
- Communicating with artists, volunteers, and other key people
- Basic data entry and record keeping
You might be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy being organised and reliable
- Like working independently but as part of a small, friendly team
- Have experience in administration or accounts (formal qualifications aren’t essential)
- Are comfortable using a computer and open to learning new systems
