Dates 27 August 2026

About Us:
We are a charitable trust dedicated to strengthening communities by advancing education, building capability and improving wellbeing. Through research, collaboration and practical programmes, we develop inclusive solutions that help individuals and communities thrive. Join us in supporting the “No to Violence” Campaign through a community event celebrating friendship, kindness, care, respect, and unity. The event features an inspiring art exhibition and creative writing showcase created by local participants.

About the Role:
We are seeking volunteers to assist in reviewing the artwork submissions we receive and to help identify outstanding pieces deserving of special appreciation. Your contribution would help us recognise and celebrate the creativity, originality, artistic expression, and effort of our participants.

Requirements:

  • An interest in art, creativity, or visual expression
  • Ability to review artwork objectively and fairly
  • Good observation and critical evaluation skills
  • Ability to assess artwork based on agreed judging criteria
  • Respect for different artistic styles, abilities, and creative approaches
  • Previous experience in art, teaching, design, judging, or any related field.

Time commitment:

  • Event volunteers and the organising team will be present at the venue from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The main event will take place from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

  • Judges are kindly requested to arrive at least one hour before the main event, preferably by 4:00 pm, to allow sufficient time to review and pre-evaluate the artwork submissions. This will help ensure that the judging process is well organised and that outstanding artworks can be identified before the event begins.

Getting started:

The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
