About the Role:

  • Attending monthly committee meetings to transcribe meeting discussions
  • Track income and expenses and manage the bank account
  • Report to the committee and support the Chairperson
  • Budgeting
  • Organise meetings and prepare and set agenda as well as take and distribute minutes
  • Keep membership lists up to date
  • Handle communications – emails
  • Record keeping and receipts
  • Compliance and reporting
  • Process invoices and reimbursements

Requirements:

  • Organisational skills and time management
  • Record keeping and documentation
  • Basic administration skills including financial literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to present financial information clearly
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Friendly and kind person

Time commitment:

  • Monthly Meetings 1st Friday of each Month 10am-12pm
  • Starting with 2 hours per week (home-based) with flexibility to maybe increase.
  • Flexible around when home-based hours are done but based around minutes being completed prior to each meeting.
  • Looking for someone who can make at least a six month commitment to this role.
