We at Vinnies are looking for a volunteer driver to do the shop runs 3 days a week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Picking up donations/rubbish/electricals/furniture/ to take back to site.
  • Dropping off clothing/bric-a-brac/electricals/furniture to the shops.
  • Making sure the van is empty at the end of your shift.
  • Weekly cleaning/hose down of the van.

The Ideal Person for this Role:

  • Must have full clean drivers license.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months in the role.
  • Needs to be reliable to complete tasks.

Requirements:

  • Full clean drivers license held for longer than two years.
  • Must be able to commit to the days and hours stated.
  • Reliable and honest.
  • Physically able to lift up to 15kgs.
  • Clear spoken English and excellent communication skills.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

  • Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00am - 2:00pm.
  • Because this role supports essential shop operations, the days and times are fixed.
