Awareness Campaign Coordinator

Hamilton, Home Based

Huggable Hearts runs a yearly awareness drive – both digital and offline – in July & August that focuses on talking about the grief and loss so many families in New Zealand face. The aim is to educate, provide support, and grow our community.

Requirements:

This is a very vital role to our operations and is perfect for a:

  • strategic and organised planner
  • who thrives on making sure all the cogs in the machine are running smoothly and aligned with the campaign mission

Your focus will be on:

  • planning and executing various community awareness events & fundraising activities
  • conceptualising digital content
  • organising in-house events like workshops, walks, etc

Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be working with other volunteers as well, such as those who manage the fundraising and social media side of things, plus in close collaboration with charity founder Andrea.

Your role's focus would be to ensure all the pieces of the puzzle are in place but may also need to contribute to the creative side. You should be comfortable working on your own and staying in touch online without delays.

Time commitment:

  • This is a flexible role, where you can choose the hours you work.

  • Tasks can be completed from the comfort of your own home, once the details have been discussed and given that no deadline is missed.

  • Please note, the campaign runs in July and August and hence, all the planning needs to be completed before then, and your presence may be required at various events to ensure no hitches.

  • This would likely be an immediate start.

Getting started:

The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
