Not only will you be finding and securing funding opportunities, you will also be managing the narrative that would compel sponsors to support Huggable Hearts’ mission, all the while polishing your own grant-writing skills.

Requirements:

This role will focus on:

  • researching, writing, and submitting grants, both new and old
  • exploring other fundraising applications that can be pursued
  • sharing our story with organisations and encourage them to help us bring comfort to bereaved families in New Zealand
  • be responsible for preparing and submitting any supporting documents as necessary, while using a tailored approach to make sure every submission makes a full impact
  • the ability to write clearly and persuasively will be paramount as well as strong time-management skills to make sure deadlines are met.
  • be comfortable working on your own and staying in touch online.

There may be some overlapping work coordination with other members & volunteers working for raising funds, as well as support from charity founder Andrea.

Time commitment:

  • This is a flexible role, where you can choose the hours you work.
  • Tasks can be completed from the comfort of your own home, once the details have been discussed and given so deadlines are met.
