The Rockit Crew is a volunteer-run community programme based in Waikato, focused on helping young adults build confidence, friendships, independence and community connection through weekly workshops and activities.

We are looking for a passionate volunteer to help support the future growth and sustainability of our organisation through:

  • Grant applications
  • Sponsorship opportunities
  • Community partnerships
  • Business outreach
  • Funding research
  • Sponsorship pack development
  • Long-term sustainability planning

The Rockit Crew currently supports around 20 members, has a growing waitlist and is run entirely by volunteers. Our long-term vision is to expand throughout New Zealand so more young adults and families can access safe and meaningful social connection opportunities.

This role is flexible and can largely be completed remotely around your availability.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Organised and reliable
  • Passion for community and inclusion
  • Experience or interest in grants, sponsorship, fundraising or administration is a bonus but not essential

Time commitment:

  • Flexible – even a few hours per month would make a huge difference.
