Fundraising Coordinator

Huggable Hearts are seeking passionate volunteers to help raise much-needed funds to continue operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing existing revenue streams, identifying new opportunities to bring in the dollars, helping with community events, coordinating digital crowdfunding campaigns, and collating local sponsorships.

Requirements:

  • Your organisational and project management skills are vital to this role, as well as good communication skills, and an understanding of what Huggable Hearts is all about.

  • You are likely to be working closely with other volunteers (such as those who manage the social media for the charity or those managing the upcoming Awareness Drive in July/August) as well as Charity founder Andrea.

  • You are likely to be planning and executing various fundraising campaigns, such as in-person local community events, online appeal for donations, and even coordinating auctions and raffles; as well as exploring any other opportunities, old or new.

  • You may be required to build and maintain relationships with (potential) donors, existing ties to local community groups, schools, or businesses (or the confidence to build them) is a major plus.

  • You should be comfortable working on your own and staying in touch online.

Time commitment:

  • This is a flexible role, where you can choose the hours you work.
  • Tasks may also be completed from the comfort of your home, but there may be some evening or weekend time commitment required, depending on events and if your presence is required.
  • Care would also need to be taken to manage any deadlines as necessary.
